This quilt measures approximately 25" square. Eight houses and eight trees surround a circular green. The centre is heavily embroidered in French knots and to add depth and detail. The border is made up of three main separate pieces, which are a curved piece, a one inch strip and a 2½" strip. There are four one inch corner squares. The border is then appliquéd with fifty two small leaves using the one inch strip as the stem. The techniques used are appliqué, piecing, embroidery and hand quilting.

This quilt hanging depicts a moment in time. There are three coutry scenes with two mini-quilts on a centre panel which hang separately on the washing line. Measuring 55" x 39", the hanging has a little bit of everything: appliqué, machine piecing, English paper piecing and foundation piecing. This pattern is an A5 booklet of sixteen pages, with eleven working drawings.

This quilt measures approximately 52" square. It is a hand appliqué project and has embroidery to add depth and detail, and a centre panel which is hand quilted in a cross hatched pattern. In making it you will use the techniques of hand appliqué, embroidery (using backstitch, daisy stitch and French knots), making bias strips and hand quilting.

This table runner is appliquéd in the style of Jacobean embroidery. It measures approximately 64" by 22", but you can vary its length by changing the number of repeats if you wish. The flowers and leaves have embroidery to give added dimension and the runner is heavily quilted.

This hanging is approximately 34" square. The centre panel has a greenhouse full of potted plants, with a tree on either side in full leaf. The framework sits on three layers of tiny bricks. Framing this panel is a border in a dark fabric, surrounded in turn by an broad appliquéd border with pots of plants along the bottom. On the left and right hand sides of the hanging, pots of clematis climb their way up and around the border. Star shaped flowers are sprinkled along the top. A further border and binding complete the project. In making this hanging you will use the techniques of making bias strips, hand appliqué, embroidery and hand quilting 'in the ditch'.
